Early Pregnancy + Birth Prepartion Support

We have many years’ experience in supporting pregnant women and offering them advice on how to stay well.

Pregnancy is a time to cultivate and support good health and prevent illness, to nourish, slow down and take time to yourself. Here at the clinic, we design treatments to support your medical care. Pregnancy consultations are available face-to-face or online. To book, please click here.

With both you and your baby in mind, our approach is to optimise health through the different stages of pregnancy and work to assist in preventing common pregnancy ailments such as nausea and fatigue. Acupuncture acupuncture provides a gentle, natural approach to supporting mum and bub through pregnancy.

Every pregnancy is different, every treatment is different

During the first trimester, acupuncture can support pregnancy following IVF/natural conception, calming the mind and helping manage any morning sickness or fatigue.

Towards the end of pregnancy, acupuncture and yoga practices help prepare you for childbirth, putting any of your anxiety at ease, and build energy reserves for the post-natal period. Moxibustion and yoga can correct breech or posterior baby positions. For those of you who have premature rupture of membranes or who are scheduled for a medical induction, acupuncture can be used to encourage the start of labour.

Noeleen's unique experience working on the maternity and labour ward along with advanced training birth support, education and pregnancy yoga allows her to offer evidenced-based support and guidance to women and couples through the each stage of pregnancy and birth.

Noeleen offers a warm, welcoming space for women to voice any concerns they may have. She has supported many women who were considering a vaginal birth after caesarean (VBAC) and provides partners and support persons how to use acupressure points for pain relief along with positions to support you during labour.

I had been trying everything to bring on my labour. I had been walking loads and Noeleen explained that my energy was low and advised that I rested more as it was vital that I had enough energy for my labour. The treatments were brilliant and very relaxing. After 3 sessions and 8 days overdue I gave birth to my beautiful gem. Her advice was brilliant and the acupressure points for my labour really helped…I didn’t need any drugs!! Thank you,
- Gosia
